I dabble in a bit of custom print work- including logo design! I love printed materials… even if some people say business cards are dying- I totally disagree. When you meet someone quickly, it’s awkward to pull out a phone and try to save a contact or try to help someone memorize your email address on the fly. Business cards are still very necessary!

People, somehow it is August. How did that happen?!

I’ve been pretty busy this summer, and I’ll post a few “real” updates… but for now.. here’s what’s been going on the last 2 days: iphone style!

I had a birthday (with cheesecake)… and I found my long lost dotted tea cup! I’d say it’s been a good week so far.

Wave Hello Photography’s internet home is getting a much needed face lift! Stay tuned over the next couple of weeks for the updates!

In other news… 2010 is off to a strong start. I’ve managed to make a resolutions list TWICE, already. I’m sure I’ll think of some more things in the coming weeks. I actually am decent at sticking to my resolutions over a yearly trend, so it is always extra fun to challenge myself to see what happens. There are always things that fall behind though! What will it be this year…. the 7 hours a week of exercise or watching a photoshop tutorial every few days? So far, I’ve been pretty bad at both of those. Whoops!

I’ve got 2 contest announcements coming up SOON. You won’t want to miss them: there is something to win for everyone, including free sessions + free prints, and a Senior 2011 contract for a year of sessions and custom announcements… and even more than that. I am crazy about contests!

Also- my comments are sad and lonely. I’d love a hello to brighten the winter weather!!!

Just a little update during this somewhat busy season! I am grateful for Christmas orders, but it is definitely a delicate balance of time!!

Here is an announcement I recently designed and ordered! My lab does such a great job. I like to order in “pearl finish” which lends a slightly shimmery texture to the card and really gives it depth!

Of course, it never hurts to have a sweet little baby to model for you. Here are a few of my favorites of baby Cason!

Here we have an example of a stunningly adorable family! Meet: Lindsay, Bryan and Izzy! They are my friends from my last job, as well as the finders (not keepers.. but sometimes I wish it so, haha) of one of my dogs, Apple! I think they are so cute. We went on an OKC trek, just enjoying some candid moments and attempting to get Izzy to look for some more posed family shots. It worked in a few of them!! I can’t wait to print some of these for my own studio.

okay, aside from thinking this is sweet, I also think this one is so funny. Izzy looks like she’s trying to ignore what’s going on behind her. In reality, I think this was a serious micro-second frame where she was standing still. But I still love it

It is CLEARLY winter!

I think it’s safe to say, Colorado winter is here. I’ll let you know how I feel about it the next time I decide to drive!

I am so happy that I got to photograph sweet Tori’s senior photos! She has a really funky and fun style and was so personable (ie. let me babble on and on ) She hopes to go to college in California! How fun would that be?! And- she’s an aspiring actress. I’d say she’ll have no problems with head shots!!

I have been dying to post this session for the last WEEK. I managed to somehow finish this 4 full days earlier than my deadline, which, if you know me, is a huge accomplishment for me right now! I LOOOOVE these girls- they are SO cute. Holy moly. They have so many expressions and energy and cute pink cheeks and bright, beautiful eyes!! A dream for any photographer.
